After a quick trip to Treasure 2013 at Somerset House, I am seriously motivated to update my already huge jewellery collection. It's a jewellery show displaying the best new designers, with two floors full of great finds! It's inspiring to see such creative flare in one place. Definitely worth a visit but be warned, you want to buy everything!
Here are a few of my favourites...

Anna Lou- Aztec Sun bracelets, love this...great for a festival vibe and comes in loads of colours and they are very affordable.

Dominique Lucas- Such a stylish ring, I really want one! Very like some of Pamela love's jewellery. This will have to be my next purchase. They also had amazing owl and elephant rings, also available in rose gold.

Allumer- Such a unique brand, good prices and had such a variety of different and fun colours. I especially loved the bell necklaces which are cutely wrapped in little matchboxes! Light up my Life!

I am slowly becoming obsessive with gold jewellery. I don't care if its the cheap stuff from Topshop or a beautiful Cartier Love bracelet. I just love the way it looks, especially with a tan.

In particular gold necklaces and rings. Being a frequent poster on Pinterest I have become addicted to the layering of jewellery.
I am in love with the Balenciaga Gold Rings SS'13. However they are not in my budget.

But I found a cheaper version from ASOS, which are adjustable meaning I don't have to worry about buying them online and them not being the correct size. I love mixing them up with different rings, instead having them all on one hand.

what's everyones prefrences when it comes to rings

Some new inspiration from up and coming designer Rachel Antonoff channeling an edgy 80s vibes and best of all- Girl power. Collaborating with bezzie Girls creator Lena Dunham for a video promoting her new line, (see link below) we see very wearable and fun clothing.
I particularly love the paisley trousers and matching cap combo..not sure if I could pull it off, but none the less, I think this designer is successful in creating great clothes that all women can wear, veering away from the traditional and channeling some well needed girl power.

Just a quick outfit I put together this morning. Discovered my mum's old Gucci belt in the back of the closet and thought it would look cute with a pair of vintage cut offs. It's great for cinching in the waist and adding an extra something to a pretty simple look.

Top: Pins & Needles, Shorts: Vintage Levi Cut Offs, Belt: Vintage Gucci

Hey all, can you believe the weather we are having. Unfortunately I decide to post this, when it was raining in Nottingham.

However for a couple of days before it was sunny, which is a big improvement. But it wasn't too hot, there was a light breeze, which made it perfect to lie on the grass and not do any work. It is also the perfect excuse to have a frappuccino.

You have no idea how excited I am to be able to not wear any tights, and show my bare legs (even though they are pale). Not have to worry in the morning, when I'm half asleep, to pick a pair of tights, which don't have any holes and the struggle to put them on.

Therefore here is my first official summer-ish outfit. I decided to go for a long sleeve shirt from Zara, just in case I got a bit chilly, with a pair of light denim shorts, with a fringe also from Zara, and my new pair of Toms (which I got on sale whilst I was in Toronto, gotta love a bargain).

Hopefully the sun will be back.

Manolo Blahnik, Carrie Bradshaw, now us? The single sole pump is making a fashion comeback. Blahnik believes they are the most flattering heel and I am a new convert. Admittedly I am a lover of the 5 inch stiletto and could never brave the more modest heel. But after my most recent purchase at Topshop, I think they are the way forward. No more foot cramps and stumbling on the streets, these are heels that are actually comfortable and acceptable for the everyday. Magazines and fashionistas are becoming fans and in neons colours or paired with jeans, they are the perfect footwear for spring.

What are everyone's thoughts about the trend of wearing running trainers with an everyday outfit??

Personally for me, I feel as if its like a 40 year old women on the commute from home to work. Maybe the fact I don't like the trend is because I won't be able to pull it off and I'm jealous of everyone who can.
I think the best way to wear this trend is by actually wearing a a really wacky pair of trainers with something quite simple. I love Nike's range of neon sneakers. As well I love when someone works converses with a dress, it can change the whole outfit.
Below I have put together a range of photos, for inspiration...
Tell me what you think about this fashion trend..

lots of love
